AEC is watching you...

Just a reminder that Goblinoid Games' "Advanced Edition Companion" for Labyrinth Lord is coming soon! This is going to be an awesome book! Dan Proctor really has composed a product that I wanted back in the early 80's and now has finally come into being. It really allows you to give your players the "Advanced" experience while not making the gamemaster's job one iota more complex. Keep your eyeballs peeled like above for this one!

Elves and Dwarves and Hobbits (oh my!)

Tolkien started it, and ever since Elves and Dwarves have never gotten along. Or at least, that was the deal in AD&D as well. Leave it to the poor Hobbit to have to fix things. (Of the three, he's the one that will need the counseling..)

Turn turn turn...

One of the things that I enjoy about doing fantasy illustration is the costuming. As I've said before, I love to draw drapery. I remember thinking back in college that if I could do nothing but paint drapery, I'd be happy. Well, that doesn't exactly pay the bills, but it is a fine thing to do.

This is a cleric turning the undead, which is one of my favorite D&D bits. Doing it with Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee would have been ideal, but I wanted to make sure there were more women in my drawings and I'm usually not one for portraiture anyway. Plus the costuming was fun. Again with the drapery.
